What We Do
Roving Decanter is a guide to the regional foods and wines of the United States. We strive to discover what is distinctive about the wine and food of a particular area and tell readers where to find them. Tasting your way through the food and drink of a location is essential to experiencing it as it illuminates that region’s culture, history, and geography. Increasingly, in the U.S, this means learning about wine. There are now wineries in all 50 states, each with their own distinctive character and story, and their quality is improving dramatically. Roving Decanter is dedicated to finding that quality.
